The Hilton Central School District is accepting applications for full-time Cleaner positions.  Position includes generous benefits package, paid time off, and the opportunity to join the NYS Retirement System.  The typical hours are 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, Monday through Friday, 40 hours / week. Rotating weekends and occasional holidays required. This is a labor position involving performance of cleaning duties, and following routines and procedures in accomplishing tasks. 21-22 Anticipated Special Education Assistant (Office Clerk III)21-22-OFCIII-01

The Hilton Central School District has an anticipated 3 year ARP funded vacancy for a Special Education Assistant in the Learning Support Services Department.   This is a 12 month, 7.5 hour/day position.  This position requires the Civil Service title of Office Clerk III, therefore only those candidates who are currently working in this title or whose name appears on the current Civil Service eligible list, or meet minimum qualifications for Provisional Appointment* will be considered.

*The term provisional means that you will be required to take the next Civil Service examination for this title, and place among the top three (3) candidates on the examination list in order to be eligible for permanent appointment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma, plus EITHER: (A)  Two (2) years of paid full-time or its part-time or volunteer equivalent office clerical or secretarial experience; OR, (B)  Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with an Associate's degree or successful completion of sixty (60) college semester credit hours; OR, (C)  Any equivalent combination of education and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B) above.

The Hilton Central School District has an anticipated vacancy for a Full-Time (1.0FTE) Registered School Nurse for the 2020-21 school year.  This position requires that candidates hold a current New York State License as a Registered Nurse.  *Location may vary and will be discussed during the interview*

Duties may include:

  • Providing preventive services to students
  • Identifying medical problems in the earliest stages
  • Overseeing interventions and referrals as a way to foster health and ensure educational success

The Hilton Central School District is accepting applications for a Food Service Worker for the 2021-22 school year.  Hours and location may vary and will be discussed during interviews.

Typical Work Activities:

  • Manual work in the preparation and serving of food. 
  • Responsible for cleaning kitchen equipment.
  • Serves as cashier on student faculty food service line.
  • Does related work as required.

Hilton Central School District has an anticipated vacancy for a Network Technician for the 2021-22 school year. 

Duties may include:

  • Analyzes malfunctions to determine the nature of the problem and whether a service call should be placed;
  • Performs minor repairs on micro processors, terminals, printers and modems as prescribed in vendor manuals;
  • Arranges for replacement of all problem equipment;
  • Documents equipment problems daily;
  • Installs micro processors, computer terminals and printers while conferring with an electrician;
  • Maintains an inventory of computer equipment;
  • Tests micro process functions, computer network communication signals and resolves any signal quality problems;
  • Attaches connector to the computer coaxial cable when appropriate.
$19.75 Base Pay Per HCSEA Contract
2021-22 Anticipated - Microcomputer Maintenance Technician21-22-MICRO-01

The Hilton Central School District has an anticipated vacancy for a Microcomputer Maintenance Technician for the 2021-22 school year. 

Duties Include:

  • Diagnose problems and troubleshoot repairs on various equipment such as CHromebooks, labtops, copiers, printers, and panels.
  • Responsible for the preventative maintenance, repair, and installation of various types of technology
  • Provide customer service based support to end users through multiple modes such as in-person, phone, and remote.
$16.77 Base Pay Per HCSEA Contract
