The Hilton Central School District has a vacancy for the position of Cook Manager for the 26-27 school year.  Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, abilities and personal characteristics:

• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers and also be an active participant in preparing, cooking and serving meals;
• Have experience in requisitions of food and supplies and have a background in inventory management;
• Must be able to maintain production, sales, and payroll records;
• Possess working knowledge of several different types of equipment used and be able to supervise the cleaning and maintaining of such equipment.

Selected candidate will oversee the breakfast and lunch programs at school as well as the vending and catering functions.  Safety and sanitation procedures are an integral part of the operation and certification are required. 

The Hilton Central School District is accepting applications for a Food Service Worker for the 2026-27 school year.  Hours and location may vary and will be discussed during interviews.

Typical Work Activities:

• Manual work in the preparation and serving of food. 
• Responsible for cleaning kitchen equipment.
• Serves as cashier on student faculty food service line.
• Does related work as required.
