Hilton Central School District has an Anticipated vacancy for a 1.0 Alternative to Suspension Supervisor at Hilton High School. Experience in similar area preferred. Consideration will be given to candidates with the ability to communicate and work collaboratively as a member of a team.

The Alternative to Suspension Room Supervisor responsibilities are, but not limited to:

Capitalize on academic learning for all students

Supervise students who have been assigned to the room

Communicate clearly with Teachers and Administrators

Provide a safe environment by implementing restorative practices

Assist in the implementation of social, emotional, and behavioral support for students

Be responsive to school needs as identified by school administration

Work toward a prevention model that encourages students to engage in their academics

Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
