The Hilton Central School District has a vacancy for a 1.0 Groundskeeper position in the Buildings and Grounds Department for the 25-26 school year. Monday through Friday, typical hours fall between 6am - 3:30pm, rotating weekends and occasional holidays required, 40 hours/week. Position includes generous benefits package, paid time off, and enrollment in the NYS Retirement System. This is an important grounds maintenance position involving upkeep of lawns, sidewalks, driveways, and building exteriors. This employee may operate motorized equipment or light-weight trucks. Work involves manual labor and is performed under various weather conditions including extremes of heat and cold, humidity, or inclement conditions. Positive fingerprinting through the NYSED is required.
