Anticipated 1.0 FTE School Social Worker (UPK), Probationary, District-Wide*

District-Wide UPK social work position, New York State School Social Worker Certification or certificate of internship is required. Understanding of child development from ages 3-5. Ability to support school readiness through social-emotional and behavioral interventions. Skill in conducting observations, assessments, and functional behavior analyses appropriate for young learners. Ability to build strong relationships with families from diverse backgrounds and connect them to community resources. Strong consultation skills when working with teachers, related service providers, and administrators. Ability to provide individual, small-group, and classroom-based interventions.
