Job Description

1.0 FTE Teaching Assistant at Village Elementary. The successful candidate should have experience working with children, knowledge and skill using technology and be an organized self-starter. They must also be flexible and comfortable working with students based on their individual needs as well as leading groups of students at times. A positive attitude, a drive to continually learn, and being a team player are also important qualities.

 

 

Job Qualifications

• NYS Teacher Certification or NYS Teaching Assistant Certification is required
• Experience working with elementary age students including students with autism preferred
• Demonstrated capacity to work in a collaborative and flexible manner to support student success
