Job Description

The Hilton Central School District has a vacancy for a Full-Time (1.0 FTE) Registered School Nurse.  This position requires that candidates hold a current New York State License as a Registered Nurse.  *Location may vary and will be discussed during the interview*

Duties may include:

• Providing preventive services to students
• Identifying medical problems in the earliest stages
• Overseeing interventions and referrals as a way to foster health and ensure educational success

Job Qualifications

Desired Professional Traits:

• NYS Licensed Registered Nurse
• Experience with electronic medical records and/or Infinite Campus preferred
• Able to provide direct and efficient healthcare to students
• Able to demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in skilled nursing duties and in emergency medical situations
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Experience working in a school setting preferred
